It's time to start writing your state and federal officials to protect your right to fish. This season looks safe, but the 2011 season is in jeapordy, with sweeping new restrictions, that just aren't needed. The very liberal "tree hugger" groups are scheming and spending plenty of Nancy Pelosi money(tax payer) and will say, use any bogus science to prevent us from fishing for Cod and Haddock. Make sure the right people know that you vote and change in regulations will eliminate their jobs. This is a real threat, as of Jan 1st, the deep water Grouper fishing is closed in the southern Atlantic sector. Let's not have our Haddock and Cod taken away too. Especially now that fishing is so good, better each year. Call, write or visit their offices.
