Believe it or not one of the nicest days in the last two months on the water. Seas 2’(flat calm) hovering around freezing(which is warm relatively speaking) and we’ll be home before the snow gets going 330-4! Report as soon as I know. Been a tough winter but Nate has managed to pick and choose the few dates we can get out and in the last two months, we’ve only turned around once and only cancelled once in the morning at the dock. Pretty damn good considering the weather, sneaking days in before and after storms and Gales. Hopefully the fish remain strong. Once again this week looks horrible, it gets more difficult with the very cold water, makes us consider the temperature along with the winds and waves. Any day with 25 knots and above forecast, we will not be operating, we check several different weather outlets, NOAA, Windfinder, TV, etc. High temperatures in the teens with the water so cold is also a factor in our decision to run or cancel. Hoping for better weather, report from today asap. Wednesday and Thursday are the next maybe days, too far off to know for sure. Cancel tomorrow ( Monday) and Tuesday for sure. 1438 About the same as yesterday(according to Sue) who sent the pictures, thanks Sue, little different depending on where you were fishing. Moon tide gave the captain( Nate) a harder time anchoring on the spot and the bow half of the boat did better than the stern. But still good, additionally little rougher than it was on the ride out. Next trip depends on the weather, we’ll make decisions on Wednesday and Thursday asap. Enjoy the game, go Pats.
