It’s cold, unlike last January when we went 8 days in a row, then another 5 days in a row, lucky to get out 1 day a week this January. We are canceled next three days due to combination of cold and wind, last three days this January are Friday, Saturday and Sunday 10/11/12, weather permitting. We are sold out all three days, but keeping a waiting list so check if you want to go. I’ll report on fishing today when they call in. We start running for Pollock and Reds on March 21, 2025. Stay warm

UPDATE 1520 Monday 1/6/25

COLD, no way around it, sugar coat it all you want , but fishing made it a little warmer. Once again not a massacre but excellent fishing. Few that barely fished only had a few but most had between 6-limit. Few big Pollock and Cusk thrown in but mostly Haddock and all the last two spots thanks to Capt Nate who rarely misses. Any fish they caught today they deserved triple fold. Pictures, as always, are from Leo and Sue who had 10 and 12 respectively. Too bad this weather is so bad because the fish are there and we still have full boats of passengers, almost all(90%) of our trips in December and January are sold out. We only had two bad trips of fishing the whole winter and even those weren’t terrible for some of the people. In port until at least Friday, check here for updates on our last three days before we take 8 weeks off to work on the boats. It has to be done. I’ll update weather for next weekend Thursday morning.
