It is with deep sorrow that we share the sad news of the passing of Dave Turner yesterday. Many of you know Dave from fishing with him over the years with us, which he loved to do every chance he could; and his beautifully made Custom Rods that he took such care and pride in making. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family. It’s always difficult to lose a loved one, but even more difficult around the holidays.
Dave was never one to complain, and even through his illness (which he kept private with family), he just finished working on a big addition to his home which, as a Master Craftsman wanting it “just so”, he did all by himself. A testament to his will power, strength of character, and a lasting legacy to his family.
Dave will be greatly missed by many. A man of so much kindness and generosity to others, it is our honor to have known him and the pleasure of his friendship.
