Usually in August we have several very slow days, just that time of, but this year today was the only one this month. All Haddock boats report very slow fishing, thankfully a beautiful day with flat calm seas and lots of sunshine. The Mackerel boats at the isles of shoals did excellent for the second day in a row, today with mostly bigs ones. Last nights Bass trips had plenty of schoolies, and that’s a change from years past. Sadly we are running out of daylight and unless you have a reservation for tomorrow or Friday night there are no longer any night trips available. Once again we can catch Cod September 8 to October 7 and today hopefully was a fluke, going different places tomorrow. Running year round except for March.
