Give you a fish report as soon as I know. We had two stern spots open up on Mondays marathon and we have plenty of room on the public boat Monday. Running 7 days a week weather permitting. Capt Les
Impressive, the big Pollock are making a strong showing so early in October. Haddock and big Pollock, some Cusk for a good day again. The tide relaxed a little but still making it tough. Remember how those Pollock fight and run, add tide( backside of the full moon) and you get difficult fishing. Capt Ed […]
The marathon did much better than the 8 hour trip but both were good, lots of action and a few dogs back around. If you were planning on going this week, tomorrow and Wednesday look like the best weather days, still room on both days and weather looks perfect. It’s way too early to be […]
Yesterday( Saturday) was tough fishing, tide and lots of shorts made the take home catch nothing like it was Friday. Today, Sunday, was much better, lots of the Big Pollock and Haddock made for good fishing and plenty of keepers on the LMAIII. Little choppy in the morning but the ride home was calm and […]
All boats are out, I’ll report on the fishing as soon as I know. Haven’t been out since Saturday, so it might take the day to find them, but with 6 boats out and the boats across the bridge, I’m sure we will. Tomorrow (Friday) is the last day for Cod until Spring, but we […]
Running in the morning, Thursday, October 6. Last two days of Cod, tomorrow and Friday , two boats for the public and it won’t be packed. (8) 10 hour marathons added for October/November, sign up now. Dates in last post. Looks like a long stretch of good weather after these horrible last four days. Capt […]
It’s just too rough still. One of the harbor boats tried this morning to no avail. Quick turn around and will be worse in the morning. Sorry for breaking promises, but we don’t want to take you out and hurt someone. The boats can take it but the passengers not so much. We will and […]
It sucks, but we have to wait one more day. It’s not dangerous at this point but very unpleasant, so waiting for one more day(Tuesday CX). We will be sailing on Wednesday, all trips and we have some room. Our hearts go out to all affected by Ian, especially those in SW Florida. Puts things […]
Weather will keep us in port an additional day, next trip Tuesday, weather permitting. Capt Les
All trips are canceled Sunday October 2, too much wind, Monday doesn’t look good either, decide Monday in the morning. Looks like after tomorrow Tuesday will be the next trip, Cod still in season, but the Haddock and Pollock are great, so when Cod closes on Friday we still have lots to catch. Capt Les
