No boats out today, too rough, we have two boats going in the morning(Saturday 10/29) so still room, boat leaves at 7, looks like an amazing day. Sunday marathon is sold out, Monday marathon has 4 openings, Tuesday,Thursday and Friday are chartered. That leaves Wednesday and next Saturday with openings, they will be full, now […]
Out today, but in port tomorrow with the wind. Saturday looks excellent and we have two boats for the public, it will be the last day for the LVII. AB/MJ and the LMA will be the only boats operating after Saturday, AB running until 11/12, but only one day available and that is 11/2. Sunday […]
Might want to start thinking about getting down here. Due to USCG requirements, we have to haul a little early this winter, so 12/18 will be the last trip this winter. Starting back up March 23, 2023 for Reds, like always. But until then we have 2 months of great fishing. Just look at todays […]
Sunday it depended on what boat you were on, couple were slow, couple ended up good with lots of cusk, Pollock along with the Haddock and the AB slammed the large Pollock. A ways out but doable on good weather days. Today was not one of those days, all boats returned to dock due to […]
Yesterday we should have sailed, tough call, but today not a chance. Wind lays down tonight and running in the morning and beyond. Room on all trips, we have back up boats. We added 10 hour trips through November, makes a big difference, those two hours. added 10 hour trips are 10/23-24-30-31 and 11/6-7-13-14-20-21, deposit […]
Not the best weather day but plenty of people wanting to go, so we’re out, report when I get it. We will be in port tomorrow and Thursday due to Small craft warnings. We usually need a Gale warning to cancel definitively, but with the cold morning and wind we are pushing everyone to Friday. […]
The sharks made a vicious assault early on, moved out of that area(6 miles) and had a good day on Haddock, 6-15 pp. Did find a dozen or so giant black backs but we couldn’t fish where they’ve been due to the sharks. Didn’t talk to the all day boat, still waiting for a report. […]
Give you a fish report as soon as I know. We had two stern spots open up on Mondays marathon and we have plenty of room on the public boat Monday. Running 7 days a week weather permitting. Capt Les
Impressive, the big Pollock are making a strong showing so early in October. Haddock and big Pollock, some Cusk for a good day again. The tide relaxed a little but still making it tough. Remember how those Pollock fight and run, add tide( backside of the full moon) and you get difficult fishing. Capt Ed […]
The marathon did much better than the 8 hour trip but both were good, lots of action and a few dogs back around. If you were planning on going this week, tomorrow and Wednesday look like the best weather days, still room on both days and weather looks perfect. It’s way too early to be […]
