Sailing tomorrow Monday at 7 am. Tuesday and Wednesday cx due to wx. Not many days left. Capt Les Jr
Just a little too rough to try and get tomorrow(Sunday) in, sailing Monday, some room left. Usually need Gale warning to cx, but not in February, we’ll stay in port with Small Craft warning. Only two weeks left, not sure how many of those days we’ll get in. Capt Les Jr
Along with the tide, it was rough during the morning, making it difficult. Laid down in the afternoon and managed an ok trip. Zero to 7 Haddock was the range. Sunday is next trip and we’ll be done with the moon tides, hoping for another massacre. Capt Les Jr
Looks like the only day this week, open at 5, departing at 7. Thursday and Friday cx due to wx. Saturday will be decided Friday morning. Not many days left for this Haddock bonanza, don’t miss out, closed most of March until we open for Redfish March 28th. Capt Les Jr
The full moon can work either way, against you or for you. Worked against us today. Hardly anything most of the morning, tide change before noon and they started to bite. Nothing great, call it fair to good. High guy had just 10( pretty good) some only had dinner 1-2, average was 3-6. I guess […]
Little chilly but Sunday should be flat calm, so sailing Sunday. Going to cx Monday, but sailing Tuesday. Apologies to all trying to go, but we can only carry so many on one boat. I’d like to say we’ll have two or three boats available next winter but once again, and I can’t stress enough, […]
Glad to announce we have a new vessel joining the fleet. The Lady Courtney Alexa is no longer with us, but has been replaced with a bigger faster boat named after my sister in law, Phil’s wife. The Lady Virginia II will be ready for charter April 15th. The vessel is 62’, carry’s 60 fishing( […]
Sunday will be the next trip, no taking chances this time of year, lots of you come from far away, we want to make sure we can get out with as much certainty as possible. Additionally any temps below freezing and more than 15 knots of wind produce too much ice this time of year. […]
All 50 on board caught their limit of 15 Haddock pp, well before time to go home. Some Pollock mixed in, but can’t get any better. Sadly we cx tomorrow prematurely but can’t make every call right in this business. Thursday and Friday weather will keep us in, hoping for Saturday, Sunday is a definite […]
Very slow morning, only 20 fish in the boat when Capt Tory moved into the gully and it was non stop until time to go home. 10 caught there limit, most of the rest were 6-10 pp and just a few only had 5. Still there and for the guy that complained about too much […]
