First day in a while we can say it wasn’t good. Relatively speaking, compared to the last two weeks, it was horrible. Slow pick 2-4 keepers pp for most but a few people did well, Sue had 8 Pollock and 1 Haddock. Not terrible but nothing like it’s been. Not all bad news, two of […]
Rough, 6 packs didn’t go today. Even with the difficult conditions the two marathons and all day boat did good. LAM did good, LMA really good(10-15pp) and the LVII smashed them. Seems to be an early bite, LVII was out there an hour or so earlier than the other two boats. Rough but they were […]
Still good fishing but nothing like the prior 2 days( Tuesday and Wednesday) on the LMAIII. Yesterday(Thursday) 5-12 pp, mix of big Pollock and Haddock, no Cod limit. They are still there just making us work to find them. Everything is sold out until Monday where we have 7 openings on the 10 hour marathon […]
All boats had 7 am departures and by 1030 on the LMA, no room in the buckets. The huge Pollock are so thick it’s hard to get to the Cod and Haddock, but we’re still getting them. Just like winter fishing so early in the Fall. Check out yesterday’s post, pics from yesterday and it’s […]
We knew they were there, just haven’t been that hungry with the full moon and eating at night too. But all changed this morning, massacre, can’t even hit the bottom without a huge Pollock(10-25 pounds), Haddock or Cod. Don’t have numbers, but, Capt Ed said “stupid” too many. Too far for pictures but will post […]
Won’t he start slowing down for three weeks, if at all. Weather is amazing, fish pics from today’s marathon. Sold out until Thursday when we have 2 public boats available, have room Friday too, Sunday the marathon isn’t sold out(which is rare), but the All Day boat is full. Lots of room the week after. […]
Really put a damper on the last 3 days. Monday we were planning on sailing but the 15-25 forecast was 25-35 at departure time so we wisely stayed tied to the dock. Yesterday we had a decent day, wasn’t perfect but we caught plenty of fish and wasn’t all that rough, but not calm. Today […]
The marathon was great today(Sunday 10/13) lots of fish, pictures attached. Room on Wednesday and Thursday, few on Friday. Now that’s it’s getting cooler, remember the LMA has heated outside railings, climate controlled cabins and satellite TV so you don’t miss any games. Capt Les
Pics from yesterday. Sadly we made a mistake today, but in fairness to us, they didn’t post Gale warning until after we were all in bed. We had to disappoint everyone that showed up by not sailing with that type of wind. Back at it in the morning. Everything sold out until Tuesday when we […]
Fewer sharks and more Haddock. Instead of 60% Pollock and 40% Cod and Haddock like the past several days, it was more Haddock yesterday. Big Pollock are still here in force. Looks like an excellent Fall/Winter. Pics from LMA and Capt Phil, a few from LV and Capt Tory. All six packs did well. LAM […]
