Report as soon as they call in! Just got the report 1500, and not the crazy massacres of the last 2 weeks, but still excellent. Mostly big pollock 4-20 pp, not so many Haddock. Mainly due to tide and full load of passengers, the tangled made it tough. Next a availability is Thursday and beyond. […]
Thought we’d get today in, but Mother Nature had other plans. Even though the water is 47, the air temperature along with 4’ waves with lots of spray caused us to ice up on the way out, we had to turn around, sorry to everyone who showed up. We are sold out next three days […]
Crazy fishing, 1122 and the buckets are full, Pollock slam, moving over to find Haddock, in port tomorrow, running Friday/Saturday and beyond, weather permitting. Update from arrival, 5-12 Haddock pp and 5-10 Reds pp on top of the Pollock massacre. Never in my life, and I’m getting old has fishing been better. Just my memories […]

From Captain Tory, “absolute bloodbath” fast as you got close to the bottom you had Pollock or Haddock on, lots of double headers. 20-50 fish pp. sadly the weather is kicking our A**. We are sailing Friday and as you know fishing is incredible in the Gulf of Maine, big Pollock, lots of Haddock and Reds. 7am. Weekend is still too far out to make a weather call. We had to cx Thursday do to Gale winds.Capt Les Jr
The good thing about this time of year versus the bad part( weather) is fishing is crazy and unpredictable. Thursday all Haddock, yesterday enough Haddock but you had to somehow escape catching a big Pollock( they were savage). Today when the Pollock weren’t savage it was pretty much up and down on Haddock and Reds( […]
Hard to get through the Pollock, so thick, that being said, we still had guys with 10-15 Haddock. Way it’s suppose to be while braving the winter elements. We have 4 spots open tomorrow(Saturday) and 2 spots Sunday. We have cx Monday and Tuesday due to forecast gales. Fishing doesn’t get any better than today. […]
