Six more weeks of winter would put us right on traditional opening of Redfish season, so not so bad. Hoping the rodent is wrong. The harbor miraculously hasn’t frozen over yet, it really takes a combination of many things to freeze over. I grew up 20 feet from the harbor and in 65 years it’s only happened a handful of times. Seems like it happened more often when I was younger but last time was 2015. Pics are from 2015 and this morning. Looking pretty good considering the snow and cold we’ve had. It should also be noted that everyone that fishes in New England and beyond are sick and heartbroken over the loss of Lily Jean.
