Looks like a sign of life inshore, Herring, Mackerel. Water is still below 50, so I wouldn’t put much faith in catching them today, but by next week they should be settled in. For all those looking for your first mackerel meal or Bass bait for the summer we are running an exploratory trip next Tuesday afternoon, call or book on line. All boats are out, marathon, AllDay and 4 charters. Fish Report later this afternoon. Yesterday( Mothers Day) was great, read yesterdays report. Fish report 1530 Monday 5/11
AB limited, what a streak!
BS limited
MJ limited with part of the family, Pat and Gail Thomas
LVII and LAM, good but not limits. 8/9 pp average with lots of Pollock, Cusk and Reds
LMA, little better than the other big boats but they had the marathon , few limits, lots of 10-12 Haddock but still a few 3/4 along with Cusk, Reds and Pollock(no lunker Pollock)
Overall very good. Not underestimating the expertise of our 6 pack captains, they are excellent, but certainly easier to catch 90 Haddock with 6 people than it is to catch 750 Haddock with 50 people. But great day all around.
A shout out to my friend Kathy Faye, always reads my report, thank you.
