Rough seas and lots of tide made things more challenging today on Tom H’s charter, and kept the mates busy with tangles. Some did great and had 20 or more, most had at least 10, while some didn’t do as well. Tom H won the pool with his 19 pound Pollock! Stan had an unusual off day, but Staci made up for it with two huge lunkers in a row. One spot left Tues, Weds sold out, but spots available Thurs and Fri. Also still room on the upcoming Whiting trips on 9/29 & 9/30.
Good thing Staci was there to the catch fish today. Although Stan did manage to catch small sea bird!A charmed day for Tom? He won the pool and got his very own personal rainbow! He also took a wave to the face, so maybe not.Cooler was full by 10am! Leo – LMA Either the basket is getting smaller or the fish are getting bigger. LMA Marv – LMA Nicole got to meet a Wilson’s Storm-Petrel, after it got caught in Stan’s line. Not a Fishark trip, so what’s he doing here? LMA Tom – LMA Mike – LMA Dave – LMA Sue, Leo and Marc LMA Gonna need a bigger cooler if fishing continues to be this good!
