Not a massacre, but best trip in a while. Weird trip for 12/18, up and down fishing, just not all keepers and not just Haddock and Pollock. A complete mixed bag of fish, some we rarely catch on Jefferies. Cod(over 50 thrown back, one monster) Black Sea Bass, something rarely caught on Jefferies Ledge were abundant, over 35 and lots keepers. Hopefully something that will continue to migrate north, excellent eating. Pollock, Haddock, Reds and Cusk also in the mix. Think Bernard was high hook with 15 keepers, everyone had dinner, most with 4 or 5 nights of dinner and more. Picture perfect day weather wise which looks to be our problem next few days. We are cancelled next two days(Thursday/Friday) due to high winds and rough seas. Hoping to get out Saturday, we are sold out, room on Sunday and Monday. Closed Tuesday and Wednesday for the holiday, and very busy 26th and beyond. Definitely worth going today, all smiles around the boat. Capt Les
