Finally, Capt Phil said just a roll and they’ll be fishing momentarily. I’ll give you the fish report as soon as I know. We haven’t been out in 6 weeks but the Reds are pretty predictable. We have room tomorrow(Thursday) due to the rain but the seas will be flat calm. Capt Les
Report 1520: as you can imagine the conditions were not great in the morning, 6 days of 30+ knots from the NE, but they prevailed. Reds hang in one spot and even 50’ off the spot you won’t catch them. Sometimes Captain Phil re anchors 4 or 5 times to get on them, otherwise you’re wasting your time. So 10’ swells and a pretty bad tide made it very difficult in the morning. Lots of seasick too, morning sucked. By afternoon the sun was out, swells down to 5’ and as you can see at the cutting table pretty nice. Even losing the morning we had 20-50 pp, a very few people with less on the LMA and on the LAM 10-25 pp and also just a few with less. Some Cusk and good showing of huge Haddock where they’re not supposed to be, April looking pretty good. Running both boats in the morning and still space. We open at 5, bring a raincoat but it will be flat calm. Capt Les
