We had two private charters for Whiting today(7/31) and both had a massacre, big ones too. Looks like last year all over again. Public trips for Whiting are sold out 8/3, 8/4, 8/12, 8/19, 8/25, only a few openings 8/26, so we added 9/2 & 9/3. Mackerel still excellent, but Bass are still very slow, but no skunks as of late. Last check this afternoons Bass trip had 5 in the boat. All day still consistent, some with 8/9 and some with none as far as keepers. Just as many big Pollock as Haddock today. Lots of action, and except for today between the weather and whales we’ve had beautiful trips. Rained all day today, but fishing was ok, pics are from the LMA all day trip. We have room tomorrow on both All day and Half day, both Sat and Sun are sold out, room on All day Monday, both half days are sold out.
