It’s that time of year, weather is everything. Tomorrow is too windy, Saturday and Sunday look great, Mondays storm looks significant so we will Cx that in the morning. Capt Les
Sailing in the morning(Thursday) after fixing the heating system and one of the generators, last two days. Weather looks good right through Sunday, Monday not so much, too far off to make that decision. Most room is Friday. Saturday and Sunday are sold out. Capt Les
Weather wasn’t great, tough conditions, but the fishing picked back up. 3-5 up to 10-12, depending on skill and rail positions. We are sold out tomorrow on the Monday 10 hour. The LMA is now the only vessel available, really the only vessel that can operate in coming conditions( the cold). AB ran its last […]
Last three days have been off in the catching department. Enough for dinner and then some, but not like the previous two weeks. We are not operating next Tuesday/Wednesday, in order to install a new heating system and replace one of the generators. Everything is sold out through and including Monday except for the Sunday […]
They are here, along with limits of Haddock we found hungry Blackback Pollock up to 25 #’s. Excellent day of fishing. Looks like we have a long stretch of calm weather, that with the fishing, can’t beat it. Running two boats tomorrow and still some room. About 10 spots left on the 8.5 hour trip […]
We’ve been turning people away for Saturday, no longer, we have two boats available, sorry we didn’t catch this sooner. LMA and LAM both have TVs for the college games. Please call for reservations. Fishing excellent today, but it always is, on a Fishark trip. This means lots of room on a Saturday. Capt Les
Not lights out, but big Pollock and Haddock, 8-20 pp inclusive of those and Cusk, Reds. Room Sunday and Monday, next three days sold out. Capt Les
Haddock and some lunker Pollock showing up, same as yesterday but huge Pollock. We are sold out until Sunday, room on the 8.5 trip aboard the LAM, 10 hour trip aboard the LMA is sold out. Monday some room on the 10 hour trip Capt Les
Ended up pretty good considering not being out for a week and conditions that sucked. This is Mondays report at 1517, the tide was bad and the swells from NE were huge, add that to a 20 knot west wind with 5’ seas, it was tough fishing. They still managed to average 8-10 pp, mostly […]
Finally heading to Jefferies this morning, still some wind and waves, but at least doable. Fish report when I hear, but it will be tough today not having anyone out in a week and being the only boat out. But We’ll have a handle on it by tomorrow morning. Room next two days( Tuesday & […]
