Everybody didn’t catch 20 Haddock and a 20# Cod, but it was non stop action and ended with plenty of poundage from quality fish. This report is from the LMAIII, Capt Nicole’s mom Brenda and Johns annual marathon trip. As always, fish or no fish, they had a blast, the food(Brenda), but yesterday the weather […]
Fishing for Cod, Haddock and more. Cod have been excellent without even trying for them so expecting a great report later today. We don’t have any room on the all day or marathon right through Monday, we do have 8 openings on Sunday afternoon Mackerel trip, 12 openings on Monday morning 5 hour Cod/Haddock trip […]
Sept 1 is the date for Cod, 1 pp and 22”, hot off the press. Open until October 7th, in addition to that Haddock have a new bag limit of 20 at 17” until March then both open 4/1. Capt Les
Tough to keep up reporting this time of year, so many trips and different kind of fishing . We are turning the corner on summer, but still lots of Mackerel trips and lots of All Day Haddock, Cod and Pollock trips. Add some Cusk, Reds and huge Whiting the next 3-4 months look excellent. Obviously […]
Nice day off for everyone, but back at it this morning. Except for a few Bass trips, where we have two boats available, all trips are sold out until Monday. Monday we have room on all trips and one note, which is odd, the marathon has 17 spots available. This trip constantly sells out and […]
All trips Wednesday 8/17 are Cx due to high winds and seas. We can’t complain, except for a little too much heat it’s been a beautiful and storm free summer. Back at it on Thursday. Capt Les
We are winding down the summer schedule but definitely not letting go of summer. The last night trips are this week, the last being Saturday night Bass at 530. Lots of action on these trips but only a handful of keepers for the week. The whiting trips are killing it, crazy with the numbers and […]
Amazing how a weather change can change the fishing so much, of course can’t be 100% sure it’s the weather, could be Capt Todd at the helm of the LMA. The fishing was amazing with Mackerel hot and heavy, 25-50 pp. Sharks we’re non existent and the Haddock fishing was excellent, even the beginners had […]
I get a lot of flack for my fish reports, but in fairness to me, 7 boats running sometimes 15 trips a week is tough. In general not much change from last report. All day fishing has fewer sharks, one actually only caught one today. Everyone is catching dinner between the Haddock, Pollock, Cusk and […]
