Dogs have finally departed and the big Pollock are showing up in big numbers. All 7 boats( 6 boats, LAM on a three week dive charter for the power plant) did excellent, limits of Cod on all boats, big Pollock, Haddock and Cusk in big numbers, looks like a great Fall on the horizon, and […]
Still around but the savage assault by sharks, we had the last two weeks, has diminished and finally catching some fish in good numbers, albeit far offshore. We are out today but have Cx all trips for tomorrow( Friday 9/24) due to wind, waves and rain! We will call and refund or rebook before noon […]
Just heard from Capt Todd and I can finally report fishing was excellent today. Cod, Haddock and Pollock and very few dogs. The fish have been there all along just very difficult to catch keeper fish when the sharks are savage. Sunday was horrible due to sea conditions, forecast was for diminishing winds and waves […]
Fishing is beyond excellent, just what you can take home is only good. Tommy Cigar, as he’s affectionately known had 8 Haddock 9 “bigPollock” and a keeper Cod yesterday( that is excellent) on the LMA but there were still novices that had 15 sharks, couple Haddock and a few Pollock/Cusk. Really can’t bitch about those […]
You can’t get to the bottom without getting a bite, sadly a lot of those bites are Sandsharks. But your busy from start to finish and lots of excitement. On the LMA, several had their limits of Haddock, Pollock and Cod( Kenny had a 20 pound Cod, pool fish) . LTA caught a 6’ Blue-shark […]
Fishing is excellent, and we now have more room on Sunday after turning away 100’s. If you were turned away please call back, an extra 50 openings. Don’t quite have a fish report from today but told the weather is much better than expected. Capt Les
Three of the 4 boats did excellent, couldn’t get ahold of the forth. Lots of Haddock, big Pollock and Cod, double digits for most. Cod legal tomorrow for a month so maybe double digits plus a huge Cod starting tomorrow. Weather looks great, unlike last Thursday, this Thursday is just showers, no wind or seas. […]
With the extra 4 hours we were able to find some large Pollock and Haddock in good numbers. 6-700 keeper fish for the 50 on the marathon and slow on the charters and 8 hour trips. Now that we know where the fish are we’ll try to get all boats there tomorrow. Room tomorrow, Thursday […]
Brenda on her 29th?”(at least that’s what she told me) birthday with a couple of her many pollock yesterday!! Capt Phil
Not going to wait, all forecasts are in agreement that Thursday is going to be wet and windy. Looks quick moving, and a long good stretch Friday and beyond. Fishing is good and Cod season opens in a week. Capt Les
