Yesterday(Saturday) we had 5 boats out, LMA, LAM and the three six packs AB, BS, MM. It was an off day, not a massacre by any means but some promising signs. The fish were still there, maybe the full moon, maybe just an off day, but we only had the up and down fishing for shorts amount of time unlike previous days. We still had anglers in the teens, but some only had a few. Still a decent day, but not what they were hoping. One of the six packs went strictly Haddock fishing and ended up pretty good. Think they ended up with 50 for 6 of them, pretty good. Weather was great and still fishing was good, just not what it’s been. We have three boats out this morning, I’ll report before the game today( remember the big boats have satellite TV) on the fishing and we still have 12 openings on the regular all day tomorrow( Monday) going the same place as the marathon, which is sold out. All trips are canceled Tuesday and Wednesday due to Gale/Storm warnings. Capt Les 1400 Still great, full report when they get closer with pics. That extra two hours makes a difference, marathon( LMA) had 500 Big Pollock, 30 Haddock, and so many herring and Mackerel it was hard to get to the bottom. Even with all the bait, they managed an excellent trip. LAM not quite as good, LMA had an hour of up and down when they first arrived, which LAM didn’t get. Same issue with so much bait, but better than yesterday, some people only had 3/4, while others were in the teens. They are spoiled, still excellent but I’m warned against using the word massacre. But you were always reeling with something on.

Look at the bait fish, no question why they’re there
