Believe it or not, beautiful out. Chilly start but flat calm, and boats full( limited passengers with the cold) for obvious reasons, fishing is incredible, hopefully stays the same. Update later today. Fish do move and there’s always tide and moons that affect the catch but traditionally, once they settle in 4,6, even 8 weeks they stay put this time of year. Thankfully we still have several boats operating so if they do move finding them will be easier. 1200 Fish still there, full report and pictures at 1430( some Haddock too) !!!!! 1500 crushed them again, wasn’t lights out like yesterday but LMA had a Fishark charter and they were donating the fish to the food bank, which could only take 400 pounds of flesh, that was accomplished by 10 am, plus whatever they were taking home for themselves. After 1000 they went looking for Haddock, found them but lots of shorts with tons of Whiting, plenty to take home. Some guys had 4-5 Haddock plus Whiting. LAM had( big Pollock) some guys with only 6-10, but huge ones and still excellent while some had over 40, once again crazy fishing. LMA bite was early, left at 5, LAM was later, killing them last two hours. AB had a massacre, just constant all trip. Everything is sold out except the 8.5 hour trip on Monday. Running all three days, Tuesday and Wednesday are canceled already due to the wind forecast, gale/storm warnings. We’ve been really lucky getting out, with so much wind, it’s been giving us lapses with just enough time to get the job done. So Monday all day trip, after that it’s Thursday.
